Dear leaders, It’s been a while since I last wrote to you.
A lot has happened in the last six months for us all…
Over the last six months, I have continued to enjoy coaching leaders and advising companies and I was at a global marketplace as their interim Chief Growth Officer.

1» Addressing The Content Tsunami
I took a break from being part of the content tsunami we are constantly being hit by. As someone who is particularly mindful about this and written about this a lot, even I felt like I was drowning.
We are drowning in the amount of content available and being served aggressively.
From work email → work chat → social media → group chats → Podcasts → YouTube → Slack → to email and then many newsletters.
The break has helped me think more critically and see the landscape more clearly.
Here are three elements I have observed this year and recommend to leaders to reduce content overload and undue stresses of social and chat.
👎 Social Media Isn’t Social Anymore - If you find yourself doomstrolling and you rarely engage, set limits on your phone (under 20 mins) and unfollow/unsubscribe. Trends are not trends anymore so as soon as you hear about them they are gone. Look for waves not ripples…
❌💬 Leave Group Chats - Most IM groups are quantity over quality (and most admins are looking to monetise quickly now), anything over 60 members becomes a broadcast and platform for people and that’s not healthy to constantly consume
🚫 Slack & Teams Are 80-90% Noise - Depending on your org and your role most Slack and Teams are questions and chatter and not useful work. Moving to async documentation for many companies can be tricky without a dedicated plan and leader, however, the sooner you can central knowledge and remove the knowledge hoarders and the performative side of work chat the better. Reduce noise and convert to signal and an organisation that can self serve through documentation. FWIW Notion AI can be great to find answers to questions.
2» Claim Your Power Hour
I want to break through the waves/noise today (and inbox filler and all those outreach emails and asks you receive) with a free power hour/clinic session for you and your business.
I am going to be offering 4x 1-hour slots - I have offered this quietly for over a decade and senior leaders use these sessions as:
AMA’s
A strategy review
A departmental plan review / sanity check
A leadership lunch and learn
Office hours like VCs offer
A coaching session for their leadership teams
I have 23+ years experience in Product, Growth & Marketing and have led business lines and large business model switches so if these sounds useful, claim your spot today.
My Ask? All you need to do is reply to this email (or email me to leaders@dannydenhard.com) and let me know who you are and what you would like from the free virtual power hour/clinic. That is it!
(FYI to make it fair, the free hour is going to be — first come (replying to this email) first serve).
» I genuinely love these sessions and I look forward to hearing from you!
